Giving

If the Lord leads you to donate, you may bring your donation to the meetings on Lord’s Day and place in our offering box. We follow Matthew 6:1-4 and prefer to keep our giving in secret, so you may have to ask to find it. Checks may be made out to “Church in Lake Forest”. The church is a 501.(c)(3) non-profit corporation, so your donations should be tax-free,but as always consult your tax advisor.

If you wish to give electronically, you can pay with credit cards or debit. Only PayPal offers recurring donations:

A. PayPal Giving Fund

This is preferred over the below since it 100% of your donation is sent to us without fee, though be aware that your donation may take 15-45 days to be delivered to us. A PayPal account is required. Currently there is no way to enter recurring payments or to designate the payment for any specific need; if latter is desired, please send an email to us after you complete your donation.

PLEASE NOTE: Please check “Share my name and email with the charity” if you wish a donation acknowledgement statement.

B. Venmo

Scan the QR code below with your Venmo app or type in @Churchin-LakeForest and use your own Venmo app. This method does not cost a fee.

If asked by Venmo for the phone number associated with the account, it is the Google Voice number listed in the Church Address book, ending in -2579.

C. PayPal Bank Transfer

As of July 2022 PayPal removed the bank transfer option and always charges a fee for business accounts. See below.

D. PayPal Credit/Debit:
